What I saw on Facebook:
Mark's sister, Debra posted this on Facebook. Her family had a devastating house fire last year. The house was a total loss. As she uncovered treasures we all feared were gone forever, she shared with us.
Yesterday, this is what she wrote:
"Always a beautiful sight when I find this treasure at Christmas time! A star made by my sister in law Jan from my brothers favorite shirt. Until next year...you are always on my mind Mark!"
Mark loved his plaid shirts. I saved them for quilting projects. I made a star ornament for each of his siblings and for the boys.
Nice to know we share those precious memories.
