About a week ago, my mom, who is 83,
brought her baby sister (Aunt Joan, on the left, who is 78 years old)
to Butler to visit their older sister (Aunt Helen (center) who is 88).
The volume of the conversation, the topics (bad knees and hearing aids) changed,
but the love and caring...it was clear that they were sisters!
Two hundred, forty nine years of sisterhood!
